Important Safety Information for Neodymium Magnets

This is a standard manual of use for Neodymium Magnets. It must legally be included on every website that sells Neodymium Magnets or products with Neodymium Magnets

Before using these magnets, please read and understand all safety warnings. Improper use can lead to serious injuries or even death.

Upon purchase, you take full responsibility for the safe handling of these magnets. This includes ensuring the safety of yourself, others, animals, and any property that comes into contact with them.

Neodymium magnets are powerful and require proper handling to minimize danger. Avoid inappropriate handling of these magnets.

Do not leave neodymium magnets in a hot car for extended periods. This can compromise their strength.

Safe Handling of Neodymium Magnets

  • Handle with care: Neodymium magnets require caution to prevent injuries such as broken skin, bruises, and bone fractures.
  • Keep away from medical devices: These magnets should be kept far from pacemakers, implantable cardioverter defibrillators (ICDs), or any other implanted/internal medical devices.
  • Risk of crushing injuries: Neodymium magnets are extremely strong and can attract each other from a distance, causing a powerful collision and potential injury.
  • Do not modify the magnets: Avoid cutting, drilling, or altering the magnets in any way. Neodymium magnet dust is highly flammable and can be a safety hazard.
  • Keep magnets away from your body: Never put a magnet (or magnets) in your mouth or any other bodily opening. These magnets are strong enough to attract each other inside your body, causing serious injury or even death. If a magnet is accidentally swallowed or inhaled, seek immediate medical attention.
  • Temperature limitations: While neodymium magnets can generally retain effectiveness up to 175 degrees Fahrenheit, this temperature limit can vary depending on the size, shape, grade, and specific use of the magnet. As mentioned previously, avoid leaving them in hot cars for extended periods to prevent weakening the magnets. Magnetic Pouch is not liable for the magnets' degradation over time and will not offer replacements, exchanges, or refunds due to concerns about magnetic strength.
  • Cleaning and Care: Avoid putting the pouch containing the neodymium magnets or the magnets themselves in a washing machine or dryer.

  • Magnet Usage: The neodymium magnets are designed for use ONLY in the designated pockets provided on the pouch. Any other use is strictly prohibited. Do not attempt to remove or modify the pouch to take the magnets out.
  • Adult Supervision: If you are under 16, never remove the magnets from their designated pockets without adult supervision.
  • Electronic Devices: Keep magnets away from electronic devices such as credit cards, televisions, laptops, and cell phones. Magnetic Pouch is not responsible for any damage caused to these devices by the magnets.
  • Child Safety: Neodymium magnets pose a choking hazard to young children. Always keep them out of reach of children to prevent accidental swallowing.
